Wetang'ula flirting with Jubilee, ODM MP says

20 April 2016, 18:40 Victor Tinto

Nairobi - CORD Principal Moses Wetang'ula is flirting with Jubilee, an ODM Mp has said.

Sirisia MP John Waluke says that Wetang'ula is in talks with the Jubilee coalition regarding a sharing agreement come the 2017 elections and that he is betraying the rest of the CORD Coalition.

He says that the FORD Kenya Chairman knows he has no place in CORD and he is seeking a way out.

" Quote me. Wetang'ula is looking for a way out of CORD and he is talking to Jubilee," he said on phone.

" We know what he is after. He should not lie to Luhyas. There is no presidential bid from him. Let him come out clean," he added.

Sirisia is Wetang'ula's home ground having been MP there previously.

The former Foreign Affairs Minister has been linked with Jubilee since the incident in which CORD leader Raila Odinga missed his presidential launch last month.

He is said to be interested in the Senate Majority position which he feels he could easily land if he joins the Jubilee Coalition.
