Nairobi - Moses Wetang'ula is firmly in CORD, Raila Odinga says.
The CORD leaders have been having a myriad of problems in recent times which have led to issues simmering and talk that the FORD Kenya Leader will leave the CORD Coalition.
Not according to Raila though.
He has told persons close to him that he is happy that Wetang'ula is in CORD and is certain that he will remain so whether he becomes the Presidential candidate or not.
" The CORD fraternity is in good terms. There are usually problems everywhere but that does not mean there is a terminal issue," an aide close to the CORD leader told News24.
Some members of Raila's ODM party have been calling for the expulsion of Wetang'ula terming him a hindrance to the growth of the coalition.
Wetang'ula it is said has been offered a number of high ranking positions in the ruling Jubilee Coalition which he has thus far turned down.
Whether that will change in the coming weeks.
