Nairobi - An ODM MP has told Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho to respect President Uhuru Kenyatta during his visit to the Coast this week.
Gideon Mung'aro the Kilifi North rebel ODM Mp says that Joho must not embarrass the Coastal people by mocking the President like he did last time out.
The Governor publicly attacked the President in Mombasa In January for coming to the County and not involving him in projects he had arrived to open.
According to Mung'aro, Joho must watch his mouth.
" The Governor must respect the President. He must watch his mouth and not cause conflict when the head of state visits," he told News24.
Joho has already claimed that he will not be afraid to attack the President once again as long as he is saying what he feels is true.
" I will speak my mind infront of the President if I feel like. The Constitution guarantees the freedom of speech," he claimed over the weekend.
The stage is now set for a vicious battle, with the President set to take his Jubilee Party agenda during his visit.
