04 August 2016, 16:55 Eugene Odanga

Nairobi - If you were looking for a free, week-long festival to attend this coming week, then look no further than the Koch Fest, scheduled to take place from the 7th to the 14th with the finale expected to be the highlight of the event.

The fest which celebrates art, music, film and photography among many more will run for the 7 days back to back with Art Forums and exhibitions, Film Screenings, Public forums, Photo exhibitions, street performances and many more taking place at different locations across Nairobi and Korogocho.

The fest celebrates the diversities, different cultures and talents from the people living inside the 4th largest slum settlement in the country, Korogocho.

It is powered by the Swedish institute in partnership with Arkitekter Utan Granser, in collaboration with the Kenyan youth that live in the area. It is a free event so come one come all.
