Waiguru being protected by government, Jubilee MP says

Nairobi - A Jubilee Coalition MP says that former Devolution CS Anne Waiguru is being protected by the government.
Alfred Keter, the Nandi Hills MP says that the fact that Waiguru has been cleared early and quickly by the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commision of corruption charges at the National Youth Service NYS.
Waiguru was cleared of the offences Monday.
Keter says that the fact that Waiguru was cleared ahead of 175 others still under investigation shows that there was something sinister going on.
" The fact is that there is a plot to clean up Waiguru's image from the government and there is someone looking to ensure she is saved from all allegations at the expense of others," he said.

He accused the Commision of handing the former CS preferential treatment.
"There are a lot of files in the commission. Why the rush to clear
Waiguru? There are some people whose files have not been cleared since
Keter further asked why the Ethics and Anti-Corruption
Commission informed State House, not Director of Public Prosecutions
Keriako Tobiko, of its finding.
Waiguru is seeking to vie for the position of Governor Nairobi in the 2017 General Elections.
