Nakuru - Rebel members of the United Republican Party (URP) have been given until the April 16 to apologise and return to the party or be declared political outcasts in the rift Valley.
URP Nakuru branch Secretary General, James Bett said that the deputy president's party has opened the door for all rebels to return in the next five days or face dire political sanctions.
Speaking Sunday in Nakuru town, Bett said that all rebels must issue a public and formal apology to the deputy President before the Afraha thanksgiving rally.

"URP has given all party rebels up to Friday this week to come back home and apologise and we are ready to receive them with open arms," said Bett.
He added: "If by Saturday they won't have announced their return then the party will declare them political outcasts and ask the people of rift Valley to reject them at the ballot in 2017."
He said that it will be political suicide for anyone to even dream of opposing the deputy President in rift Valley.
