UhuRuto want to divide the Luhyia vote with their new 'tribal' party

Nakuru - A former Member of Parliament has claimed that the new Jubilee party will divide and polarise the country because it is tribal.
Former Rongai MP, Luka Kigen has said that the new party is a collection of two major tribes, something he said will divide the country.
Speaking Wednesday in Nakuru town, Kigen said that the party brings together the Kikuyus and the Kalenjins, leaving out other tribes.
Kigen said contrary to what the President and his deputy are telling Kenyans, the party is not a national party.
"The Jubilee party of Kenya is not a national party but a party of two tribes and its intention is to polarise the country and divide Kenyans," said Kigen.

"How come they are only targeting to unite two tribes and a part of the Luhyia nation?" Kigen posed, adding that UhuRuto's strategy is to divide the Luhyia vote as a way of winning the 2017 elections.
"They want to divide the Luhyia votes by dividing their leaders and by so doing they will ensure that 2017 is an easy game for them," he said.
Kigen further called on Kenyans to be vigilant not to fall into UhuRuto's tricks.
