Nairobi - President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto are planning a major political tour in the rift valley to cool down the simmering political temperatures.
Kuresoi North MP Moses Cheboi has revealed that the two will soon tour the region which appears to be politically divided to heal the wounds and unite the people.

Cheboi revealed that the tour will see the two visit Baringo, Bomet, Kericho and Samburu counties which appear to be drifting away from jubilee.
The MP said that the tour is aimed at containing the KANU wave that seems to be strongly and quickly sweeping across the four counties.
"The truth is that all is not well in Bomet, Kericho, Baringo and Samburu because KANU seems to have taken over the regions from URP and the president and his deputy will soon be coming to calm things down before all is lost,"said Cheboi.
He added "even if we won the Kericho by election we must admit that the region is not with us and that is what the two will be coming to address".
Cheboi said that during the tour the president will also try to reach out to KANU leaders with the aim of reuniting then with DP Ruto.
