“Uhuru and Ruto never fought for multi-partism in this country and are all beneficiaries of a single party rule. That is why they have conspired to kill multi-partisim that came through bloodshed,” said Cheruiyot.
Speaking Tuesday in Nakuru town, Cheruiyot said the two leaders are planning to use the new Jubilee party to rig elections the KANU style.
“I was in KANU and I know how we used to do this thing of rigging elections. Because KANU was a strong national party, it was easy for votes to be manipulated in its favor and that is where Uhuru and Ruto want to take us,” he said.
He added: “They will use the new party to cling to power like Museveni and Mugabe.”
