Uhuru's message to Sonko

Nairobi - 'The Presidency at present belongs to Uhuru Kenyatta only', he has told Kenyans.
That was President Kenyatta’s message on Tuesday when he responded to Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko who self appointed himself the acting President last Friday.
The President who jetted back in the country on Monday evening from Togo dismissed Sonko’s utterances that sparked outrage when he said he was the third top most person in the absence of President Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.
" Don’t bother what people say at funerals, weddings and all these other issues,” the President said.
He explained that only time he ceded power to his deputy Ruto was in October 2014 when he travelled to the International Criminal Court (ICC) at The Hague.
The ICC had said that during his appearance in court, President Kenyatta would be recognised as a suspect and not the President.
It was during that trip that he announced that Ruto would be in charge.
