Uhuru will do to you what Kibaki did to me in 2002, Raila tells Ruto

Nairobi - Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) leader Raila Odinga has cautioned Deputy President William Ruto against expecting support from the Central Kenya region in 2022.
Speaking in Nairobi, Raila said he has been a victim of the region’s deceit after supporting Kibaki's Presidential bid in the 2002 elections.

“Kibaki had promised to support me in 2007 but he did not; he promised to support Kalonzo in 2013 but he did not. Instead, he brought in Uhuru Kenyatta and kicked Kalonzo out,” he said.
