Uhuru told to replace Ruto with Moi if he wants to win 2017 polls

Nairobi - President Uhuru Kenyatta has been told to replace his deputy William Ruto with Baringo Senator, Gideon Moi in the 2017 general elections.
Former Rongai MP, Luka Kigen said that Uhuru should pick Gideon to be his running mate in next year's polls if he wants to stay in office for a second term.
Kigen argues that Ruto has lost the support of Kenyans and he will ruin Uhuru’s chances of winning a second term as President.

Speaking in Nakuru town, Kigen said that Ruto is embroiled in a lot of controversy and Kenyans have lost trust in him.
“Uhuru should pick Gideon as his running mate because that is the only way he will be sure of winning next year's polls,” said Kigen.
He added: “Ruto has lost favor with Kenyans and the truth is that most Kenyans don’t like him. If Uhuru sticks with him, he will be asking Kenyans to vote him out in the 2017 polls.”
Kigen said Moi does not have a lot of scandals dogging him like Ruto and will thus make a perfect DP for the country.
“Gideon does not have any scandal on his back and he can unite Kenyans because he is not driven by tribal or personal hatred,” he said.
