Uhuru to start his Mt Kenya tour Wednesday

Nyeri - President Uhuru Kenyatta' much-awaited Mt Kenya tour starts Wednesday on Wednesday when he lands at Sagana State Lodge in Nyeri County.
According to sources, his trip begins with leaders’ meetings.
During his stay in the region, the President will also tour Murang’a, Nyandarua, Laikipia, Isiolo and Kirinyaga Counties.
He is also expected to chair the Governors’ Summit and also grace the police pass-out parade at Kiganjo Police Training College.

The President will launch various development projects including roads construction, issuing of title deeds and addressing the issue of agriculture which is the major economic activity in Mt Kenya region.
Uhuru will also attend a homecoming party for Devolution Cabinet Secretary, Mwangi Kiunjuri at Nanyuki town in Laikipia County.
The President is also expected to speak much about the illicit brews which have sneaked back into the market.
