Uhuru to snub Joho again?

Nairobi - Governor Ali Hassan Joho might snub an invite to the opening of a hotel in Mombasa by President Uhuru Kenyatta. But will he?
The Governor is on record as having complained of being snubbed by the President over the weekend since he begun his Coastal tour in Mombasa two weeks ago.
" I am in the opposition but it does not mean I cannot work with the government to improve the lives of people of Mombasa," he told the President to his face in a rally in Likoni.
And with the President opening a hotel in the city on Tuesday, the Governor might get the chance to either escalate the issue or end it once and for all.
" President Kenyatta will be accompanied by Tourism Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala and other senior Cabinet Secretaries and leaders," a statement by State House said Monday, with Joho's name not mentioned as one of the dignitaries to attend.

Uhuru will be officially opening the English Point Marina hotel in Mombasa.
According to those close to Joho, he has yet to confirm whether he will attend the opening of the hotel.
" There is no indication yet. We will know with time," an aide of the Governor told News24 in confidence.
The President did not respond to the complaints by Joho over the snub.
