Uhuru supporting Kabogo, Waititu claims

Nairobi - Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu claims that his arch nemesis William Kabogo is getting help from unlikely quarters.
Waititu is said to have told close friends that he feels Kabogo is getting the support of the executive.
Both are vying for the Governor's seat come the 2017 election, which has brought up some interesting banter between the two Jubilee leaders.
They are now in court trying to verify if Waititu indeed does hold a legitimate degree, which is a premise for those running for Governor.
" Waititu feels that Kabogo has the support of the executive but he will fight on," Dickson Kamau Mwangi, a Waititu supporter told News24.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has in the past steered clear of the spat between the two but is said to be watching keenly as the race unfolds.
There is no love lost between the two, who both believe that they have what it takes to be the next Kiambu Governor.
" I am in the race whether some like it or not. We know who is the most popular. We will see come 2017, " Waititu said in Kiambu last weekend.
Their race will be the most hotly contested inter-coalition duel ahead of the 2017 polls.
