Uhuru makes changes at State House ahead of 2017 polls

Nairobi - President Uhuru Kenyatta has made changes to the State House
leadership ahead of the 2017 elections.
The President, who is keen to streamline activities and
operations as the focus shifts to defending his seat next year, has promoted a
few officials and dropped others as he prepares for an assault.
One of the key men to earn a promotion is head of delivery
Nzioka Waita who is now playing a key role in the President’s affairs.
According to a State House mole, the President has turned to
Waita to organize things after a shambolic showing form other Directors in the
“Waita is the new head of heads in the President’s eyes,”
the source told News24.
Ever since other State House directors were suspended over
the infamous letter to the New York Times, Waita has been the main man, and is
said to be trusted wholly by the Head of State.
“The President has seen changes ever since Waita took over
and is happy,” the source added.
The President is keen to ensure that operations in the house
on the hill are smooth as the pivotal month’s preceding the polls hit home in
