Uhuru grooming Waiguru for presidency, says Jubilee MP

Nairobi - President Uhuru Kenyatta is grooming Devolution CS Anne Waiguru for the presidency in 2022, Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter says.
Keter told News24 that Waiguru, who has been severely protected by State House over the corruption saga at the ministry was the President's preferred candidate for the 2022 polls.
" He sees her as his successor which is why he is keen on protecting her," Keter said of the matter.
The accusation though will be taken with a pinch of salt by Jubilee coalition supporters who are of the opinion that Deputy President William Ruto will succeed Uhuru come 2022.
" That is what they want you to believe. The plans are different," he added.
Keter has been a serious critic of Waiguru's whose ministry has been one of the most scandalous due to numerous corruption issues.
The Nandi Hills MP has thus far tried three different times to kick Waiguru out of office but failed and is set to have a go for the fourth time, having applied for yet another impeachment motion.
" I will not give up until the motion goes through and I am certain that it will go through," he believes.
