Nairobi - President Uhuru Kenyatta Thursday unconditionally forgave an MCA from Kisii County who two years ago abused him by sensationally claiming that he was notorious a bhang smoker.
Kiogoro Ward representative, Samuel Aboko Onkwani in April 2014 at a meeting in the County was quoted allegedly advising friends of the President to tell him to stop smoking the illegal substance.
The remarks earned him a night in the cells, and he was hauled to court for uttering insulting words against the Head of State. He denied the charges and was released on a bond of KES 50,000.

According to State House Digital Director Dennis Itumbi, the President pardoned the MCA and even hugged him.
“I forgive you. Let bygones, be bygones,” President Kenyatta reportedly told the MCA, according to Itumbi who released the pictures of the duo on his official Facebook page.
