Nairobi - President Uhuru Kenyatta has appointed Philip Kinusu to replace Mumo Matemu at the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commision EACC helm.
Kinusu's name has been forwarded to Parliament for vetting and approval
Kinusu, if approved by parliament, will replace Mumo Matemu who was suspended in April over alleged incompetence and violation of the Constitution, before resigning on May 12.
Kinusu retired from leading audit firm Price Waterhouse Coopers in June 2014 after 34 years of service.
The President also nominated Dabar Maalim, Paul Gachoka, Sophia Lepuchirit and Rose Macharia as members of EACC board.
The names of the nominees have all been forwarded to Parliament for consideration.
The President is also expected to appoint the Commission's officials who will later be vetted by Parliament in due course.
