Types of women men hate to date

26 May 2016, 16:01 Shakila Alivitsa

Materialistic women

Yes, I know you like money and all things money but let me tell you; keep it to yourself. Don’t go announcing it for every Tom, Dick and Harry. A man wants to think that you like him for him even if there is that small doubt; he just does not want to know that you are in there for anything other than him. That is what is called ego and pride.

Let me tell you why the women of the night look easy when it comes to dealings and why they look like they win. Because he knows why she is there, he has nothing to lose. He gives her money and she does not and should not expect more from him that is why they win short term. They get spent on short term but when it comes to long term arrangements she has to use tricks. But you as a respectable person-hopefully, if you want someone to take you seriously and you know they like you; keep your materialistic instincts to yourself. No matter how much you are itching to let it be known, don’t let a guy who has it assume that is the only reason you are with him.

A woman who claims she has men after her and so he should appreciate the time given to him

Most women, few women or some women have more than one person that is interested in her-some times. If you are one such lucky lady, don’t think it is something to brag about for your date to know how lucky they are. You come off looking wrong. ‘If you have other better places to be then why am I here?’ You might like the man but he will eventually walk away because he cannot begin to wonder how much more of your time he is splitting with everybody else. That is why the ‘nobodies’ usually end up with the prize. By the time you snap out of it that is when you realize all your men have been taken and now you are desperate.

Your way or no way

If you cannot compromise while dating, how will they deal with you in a relationship? Better cut off these ties before it gets to critical. I am talking about simple negotiations. Some of you do the most on nonsense things that don’t even matter in a bid to show ‘you can be bosses’. You end up looking like a child fighting for a toy that is broken. ‘I can’t go to this place.’ ‘You have to do this.’ ‘This is so beneath me.’ And when you look at the person talking about something being beneath them, you are just flustered. If you can compromise, compromise. If someone cannot pick you up, it is because you know Nairobi traffic is horrendous. It is not like you don’t know.

The fakery

The new ‘it’ thing in Nairobi is having an accent. No, not your shagz accent but the one you acquired in your two day travels (if you have even travelled) to some foreign lands. Why don’t you acquire Nigerian accent when you go there by the way? The fakery! From weaves falling in your meal to nails not properly placed, if you are going to do it, then do it well. Don’t embarrass yourself.  I haven’t watched some fakery show since its return but I am being told there is a lot of fakery I need to catch up on.
