Two killed in Narok road crash

Narok - Two people died while the one sustained serious injuries after the vehicles they were travelling involved in a road accident in Narok County.
In the first incident, a Toyota Probox car lost control and landed into a ditch while descending a hilly place at Maltauro area along the busy Narok-Mai Mahiu highway.
One person died on the spot while the driver sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Narok County Referral Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
According to the eyewitness, it is believed that the car was over speeding at the time of the accident.
The vehicle had only the two occupants on board when the accident took place.
In the second incident, a 30-year-old man died after he was knocked by a speeding motorbike in Narok town.
He was crossing the Narok -Bomet Highway on Friday night when he was knocked by a hit and run motorbike.
Confirming the incident, Narok North Sub County OCPD Paul Kiogora said police have launched investigations to ascertain the cause of the two accidents.
He asked motorists to be vigilant while using the road especially during this rainy season to avoid causing accidents.
Kiogora said the two bodies were taken to Narok Referral Hospital Mortuary for preservation awaiting post mortem examinations.
