Two children swept by floods in Kangemi

Nairobi - Two children have been swept away Thursday morning by floods in Kangemi area Nairobi, Police have announced.
The two girls were heading to Kanyorosha Primary school when they were swept away by the floods as they attempted to cross a river on their way to school.
By the time of going to press, the body of one of the children had been found while the other was being sought.
" They were carried away. We are looking for their bodies. It is heartbreaking for their families," Isaac Okwaro, a Kangemi resident who was helping with the search told News24.
The heavy rains that hit the city Wednesday evening caused chaos all over, with motorists and commuters suffering from endless traffic jams.
