18 January 2016, 13:06 Jackson Okata

Nakuru - A tuk tuk driver who was arrested in connection to the killings of sex workers in Nakuru has confessed to the charges.

According to Nakuru OCPD, Musa Kongoli, the man confessed to be part of the gang that has been terrorizing and killing sex workers in the town when he was arrested on Sunday.

Kongoli said that the young man said he killed one sex worker after she robbed him off his valuables.

“We have arrested one of them who was arrested in town after being trailed by police and he has confessed that he killed one woman as a revenge after he was conned by one sex worker,” said Kongoli.

Kongoli said that the arrested man will help them in apprehending the gang that is behind the killings of sex workers in Nakuru which has so far seen more than 18 sex workers murdered in cold blood.

Most of the murdered sex workers are found with missing body parts, something that has led to speculations that they are being killed for rituals.
