Nakuru - A Jubilee member of Parliament has said that the awaited TNA/URP merger is a pipe dream.
Bomet central MP, Robert Tonui said the merger was a wrongly conceived idea that should be aborted.
Speaking Wednesday in Naivasha town, Tonui said by the look of things, the merger might not happen.
He said that political coalitions are here to stay and Kenya cannot be ruled by a single party.

"The merger will not happen as far as I know and even if it happens, it will not last because it is like a baby being born prematurely with complications," said Tonui.
"The idea of a single party cannot work in Kenya and TNA and URP should know that and live with it," he added.
Tonui said that political leaders from Rift valley will soon meet to make their stand on the merger know.
