TNA offices closed down ahead of Jubilee Party launch

08 September 2016, 08:06 Joseph Njung'eh

Murang'a - President Uhuru Kenyatta’s TNA party Murang’a branch has resolved to close all offices in readiness for the weekend Jubilee party launch.

The party officials who met all TNA elected leaders from the County said they were ready for the merger of Jubilee affiliate parties.

In a meeting chaired by TNA Murang’a branch Secretary General Samuel Macharia, the leaders said they were ready for Saturday launch and have already listed the delegates who will attend the function.

Macharia noted that their meeting with elected leaders was important as they were going to agree on matters that would be deliberated on during the Kasarani launch.

He lauded the President and his Deputy for merger which he noted was crucial to spearhead national unity.

“As officials of TNA in Murang’a County, we found it good to bring together all leaders from this County who were elected on TNA ticket to agree on closing all our offices within the County in readiness for the Jubilee Party launch,” added Macharia.

In a meeting which was attended by Murang’a Governor Mwangi wa Iria, the County women representative Sabina Chege, four MPs from the County and all MCAs, the leaders called for fair nominations.

Macharia said the list of delegates to attend the launch had been approved by the leaders.
