Nakuru - Days after the resignation of former devolution and planning cabinet secretary Anne Waiguru, MPs from the Jubilee coalition have started lobbying for former presidential aspirant Peter Kenneth as her replacement.
Two members of parliament from the TNA party have said that Peter Kenneth is the best replacement for Waiguru considering his development record when he was a Member of Parliament.
Njoro MP, Joseph Kiuna and his Molo counterpart, Jacob Macharia have said that the president should consider P.K. as a possible replacement at the Devolution ministry.

Speaking Sunday in Molo town, the two said that the Devolution docket needs someone who is a performer like Peter Kenneth to continue with the good work already started by Waiguru.
“Waiguru has left and now we need someone serious and hard working to replace her and that person can only be Peter Kenneth because we all saw the kind of work he did in Gatanga,” said Kiuna.
Macharia called on Kenyatta to reshuffle his Cabinet and bring on board peter Kenneth, whom he said has a clean record.
“The docket was being held by someone from mount Kenya and it should go back there; the President should think of someone like Peter Kenneth because we feel he can fill the gap left by Waiguru and proceed with the good work she was doing,” said Macharia.
