Nyeri - A reconciliation meeting for The National Alliance Party (TNA) Kirinyaga County ended up in disarray after two warring factions clashed.
The party Secretary General, Onyango Oloo had a difficult time trying to control the supporters who were shouting and making it almost impossible for him to address.
Chaos started after nominated area MCA, George Kagori was roughed up by other irate party supporters.
Oloo, who was accompanied by the party Executive Director, Joseph Maathai was trying to resolve a standoff involving five Members of the County Assembly who were last week ejected from various house committees.

The five were accused of working with forces outside the assembly to cause misery among area residents.
Oloo said due to the high political temperatures in the area, nothing amicable could be reached.
He said the national executive committee would have a sitting and address the issue of the removal of the five.
He said the differences, which emerged after the County party secretary Francis Kinyua was removed from office through undemocratic means, will also be addressed in the national executive meeting.
“After listening and learning of what brought these bitter differences, my friend Maathai and I are unable to make any decision but we order that status quo be maintained until the National Party Oversight Committee meets and give further direction,” he said.
