The GoDown Gig
23 August 2016, 19:36
Nairobi - The GoDown Gig is easily the most popular live music event for upcoming artists and music lovers.
It has solidified its place close to the top with gifted and talented live performances from different genres in the Kenyan music industry.
It also helps that since its inception it has had no cover charge for audiences, meaning people could come listen to great music for absolutely nothing. The show takes a new dimension this coming weekend, with this latest installment set to celebrate ‘Nai Ni Who’, an initiative started to celebrate the diversity in Nairobi. Performing at this event will be the likes of Judith Bwire, Afro Simba Band and the gifted Swahili Ally.
It all goes down on the 27th at the GoDown art center here in Nairobi with the show kicking off at 3pm and running all the way till 8pm.
