26 August 2016, 20:54
Nairobi - Eric Omondi is truly the greatest comedian to come out of Kenya in a long long time.
His brand of comedy traverses borders, race and language, giving him a unique advantage over his competition. He is set to be the very first Kenyan comedian to perform live for audiences in South Korea at the Busan International Comedy Festival 2016. It takes place in Busan Metropolitan City, the second largest city in South Korea after Seoul over a span of 4 days.
Started in 2013, it has grown in popularity the world over, inviting comedians from all over the world to perform live for the South Korean audiences.
It is the largest comedy festival in Asia and the only one of its kind in Korea, and with Eric Omondi set to be the Kenyan ambassador, it should be a blast both for locals and tourists. Eric filmed himself practicing his Korean in a video which he posted on his social media page.
