Nairobi - Police have warned Kenyans to watch out for stolen diplomatic number plates that could be used for terrorism.
The plates were stolen in Mombasa and according to Police alerts, could be used by terrorists to spread terror.
The plates are 45 UN 177K and 45 UN 130K.
" We urge Kenyans to keep vigil as they could have been stolen by terrorists who are seeking to use them," a statement from Police headquarters Friday read.
Stolen diplomatic plates were used by terrorists to storm a hotel in Mali last week where 27 people died.
Kenya is on high alert following recent attacks both in Mali and in Paris France where 130 people were killed earlier this month.
