Teachers back Ruto's re-election as Bomet Governor

Bomet - Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Secretary General, Wilson Sossion has backed Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto's re-election bid in the 2017 polls.
Sossion said that he took the move after the Governor championed for the successful implementation of devolution.

"Ruto is the father of devolution and he has done a commendable work. He needs another term to complete the projects," he said.
Sossion made the remarks when he accompanied the Governor in touring various schools within the County.
The Governor, who is vying for re-election on his Chama Cha Mashinani party, is facing stiff competition from Sotik MP and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Joyce Laboso.
