SUPKEM praises Muslims that saved Christians from Shabaab attack

Nairobi - The Supreme Council of Kenya Muslims SUPKEM has praised Muslims that helped stave off Al Shabaab threats to fellow Christian passengers in a Mandera bus.
Word of the actions of some Muslim passengers in the bus has quickly spread all over the world in the aftermath of the attack that killed two people.
SUPKEM Secretary General Adan Wachu said the move by the individuals was a demonstration
that Kenyans should not allow terrorists to divide them along religious
“I call upon all Kenyans to emulate the stand of the Mandera bus
Muslims in total defense of fellow Christians against terrorists who
want to divide us on faith. Let’s be each other’s true keepers,” he said in a statement Tuesday.
He also took time to send messages of condolence to the families of the two people killed in the incident.
" We would like to send its condolence to fellow Kenyans who lost their
lives at the hands of terrorists at Daba centre in Mandera County,” he
said. “We fully stand with our fellow Christians Kenyans during this
time and shall continue to do so," he added.
" Terrorists have no borders, religion and race. Islam means complete
submission to Allah. Terrorists submit to no Faith,” Wachu continued.
The incident has lifted hope the world over that the divisions created between Muslims and Christians by terrorists can be cured in the wake of increased radical activities the world over.
