Stop insulting me, Moi tells DP Ruto
27 July 2016, 11:11
Nairobi-Kanu party leader Gideon Moi has warned Deputy President William Ruto against attacking him personally.
The Baringo Senator Wednesday said that he respects the Deputy President and he should desist from constantly insulting him in public forums in the Rift Valley and other parts of the country.
DP Ruto and the Senator, a son of former President Daniel Arap Moi have in the recent past been involved in political supremacy battles, with their beef emanating from trying to control the populous Kalenjin voting block.

“I respect William Ruto as the Deputy President but for him to interfere with my work and insult me and my party Kanu is really unfortunate and uncalled for,” said Moi.
“Our competitors should know that Kanu has awakened and should brace themselves for a bruising battle during the next general election because every corner of the country was willing to join us,” he added.
