Nairobi - Stop focusing on the 2017 General Elections and serve Kenyans first, a Jubilee Coalition MP has told President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter has told the two leaders to focus on building the country first and not delve into politics like they currently are.
He has also asked them to put aside their Jubilee Party thoughts and instead think about serving Kenyans.
" The President and his Deputy have stopped working for Kenyans and started thinking about the 2017 elections which is wrong," he told News24 on phone.
He urged them to think about how to reduce the economic burden that Kenyans are having instead of building associations for elections which are two years away.
" Let Kenyans decide come 2017. At the moment we want to see results," he added.
Keter has been on a number of occasions against Jubilee ideals but he denied that he was doing so to harm the Coalition.
" I am serving Kenyans. That is my job. I will only serve the interests of Kenyans," he added.
