Nairobi - Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto has been told to stop dividing Kalenjins and instead seek to unite them.
Energy CS Charles Keter said the governor’s new political outfit is a tool to separate the community and undermine
Deputy President William Ruto’s quest to unite the people.
Rutto's party is called the Chama Cha Mashinani Party.
" We are
trying very hard to bring our people together, but it is sad that some
individuals are out to divide us. Let us stop the unnecessary sideshows
and support the DP, because 2022 is not far,” he complained to News24.
Rutto though, has insisted that he is working to increase the fruits of devolution.
" I am a pro devolution soldier. That is my job and I will not relent," he told News24.
Rutto though has pledged his support for President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election come the 2017 polls.
