Eldoret - Uasin Gishu county County Assembly Speaker, Isaac Terer has called upon the National Intelligence Services (NIS) to stop sleeping on their job and investigate the increasing cases of arson in schools across the country.
Terer said NIS have failed in their mandate and wondered why they are still in office and yet schools are continuing to burn.
"There is more than meets the eye with rising cases of arson in schools. NIS should carry out thorough investigation and tell us what is happening and know it's root cause; how can over 100 schools go to ashes yet we are told nothing," he posed.
