Spare Raila your petty politics, Joho warns Nyanza leaders

Kisumu - Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has warned leaders from Nyanza against involving Raila in petty politics.
The Governor was speaking to over 400 party delegates from the region at CITAM hall in Kisumu.
"We don't want to see leaders and their supporters fighting in ODM strongholds over non-development issues. We must remain united to beat Jubilee. Respect our party leader. Don't drag his name into your campaigns," urged Joho.
"Give him time to woo voters from other regions," added Joho.
He also challenged the Nyanza leaders to help Raila in galvanising votes instead of scattering them.
"The infighting here is derailing Raila's presidential bid and we must stop that," he cautioned.
The Governor also urged ODM leaders to focus more on voter registration.
"We must have at least 12 million votes," he told the delegates.
The delegates included the four governors from Luo Nyanza and hoards of MPs from the region.
