SoundFest 2016 postponed
19 October 2016, 19:00
Nairobi - The ‘matatu’ (minibus) culture in Kenya has brought about
the rise of annual events like the Sound Fest which are slowly becoming
household annual events.
This year was meant to be a huge one for the fest with
a planned ‘Nganya Edition’ which would see the best minibuses from all across
Nairobi compete to find the overall king of Sound. Unfortunately the event
which was scheduled for the 22nd of October has been postponed due
to reasons that are still unclear.
The management of the event posted a short apology on the
official page telling fans that the event had been postponed to a later
undisclosed date due to unavoidable circumstances.
They however promised an
even bigger show than the last two events claiming that the media interest in
the event had pulled in sponsors willing to help the show grow.

the matatu culture in Kenya is all about here.
