Sonko, Waweru clash in church

Nairobi - Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko and Dagoretti South MP, Dennis Waweru clashed at a church service in an entertaining encounter.
The two leaders both of whom have declared interest in the Nairobi Governor's seat threw friendly verbal jabs at each other when they met on Sunday.
Deputy President William Ruto was the chief guest at the service at The Mary Queen of Apostles Church that is in Dagoretti South Constituency, represents by Mr Waweru who was also the Master of Ceremony (MC) at the event.
When Sonko was invited to speak by Mr Waweru, loud cheers from the congregation rent the air.

"Thank you so much. Today you have shown who between us will be the Nairobi Governor. Your cheers and joy say it all, " said Sonko when he gave his address.
During his address before inviting the Deputy President, Waweru was quick to point out that he was firmly in the race for the Govenor's seat on a Jubilee ticket.
"I am ready for a political duel with my brother Sonko. It is members of the public who will determine who will take the seat and not ululations and cheers," said the MP.
