Nairobi - Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko will offer a KES 100,000 award for the whereabouts of three men accused of killing hawkers in the capital.
Sonko has offered the reward in response to complaint that County Police have been killing hawkers.
He claims that so far, up-to 18 hawkers have been killed by the County Police for unknown reasons.
" Police are searching for Alfred Ogesi alias Brown, Ambani Akasi alias Wasiwasi and Julius Ochieng fore their role in the killing of hawkers," he said Friday in a statement.

He also claimed that Protus Sakala alias Salala has been arrested by Police over the allegations. He described him as "notorious in the killing of hawkers in the city".
"Good news just in. The ring leader in the brutal murder of hawkers has been arrested by Flying Squad officers and is locked up at Nairobi Area Police Station," he wrote.
On Thursday, Sonko had threatened to resign if the killing of hawkers was not stopped and the killers brought to book.
