Sonko not fit to be Governor, Jubilee MP says

Nairobi - Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko should stay put as Senator and not ascend to Governor, an MP has said.
Dagoretti MP Dennis Waweru says that he and not Sonko is fit to be Governor and that the Jubilee Coalition should back him instead.
The two are haggling to win the Jubilee ticket to face off with incumbent Evans Kidero and Waweru is of the opinion that Sonko is not qualified enough.
" There is a difference between Governor and Senator. Sonko is a very good Senator and legislator and should remain there," he said in Nairobi Thursday.
Waweru believes that if he gets the Jubilee ticket, he will push Kidero out of office.
" We all agree that Kidero should be kicked out of office. That is important. I am the best placed man to do it," he added.
Waweru will take on Sonko for the Jubilee ticket come the nominations expected to take place early 2017.
