Nairobi - Aspiring Nairobi Governor Miguna Miguna is engaged in a Twitter spat with Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko where he has accused the Senator of using the police to intimidate him and threaten his life.
Through a series of tweets on his Twitter account, Miguna who has termed Senator Mike Sonko as a 'drug lord', says that on Saturday alone he received two death threats.
"Did the drug lord @MikeSonko send you to issue me with a DEATH THREAT? @KenyaPolice3 @DPPS_KE," reads one of Miguna's tweets.
"This is the SECOND DEATH THREAT I have received today. The cowards will not stop us. @KenyaPolice3 @DPPS_KE," he adds in another tweet.

Miguna has also gone ahead to pour cold water on some proposals in Sonko's manifesto while maintaining that the controversial Senator doesn't deserve to serve in any public office.
"Kenyans must not allow a convicted criminal and drug lord to threaten to turn an environmental gem like Uhuru Park into a parking lot," tweeted Miguna.
The former Raila Odinga political adviser has incessantly been attacking the Nairobi County leadership as well as dismissing other contestants in the Nairobi gubernatorial race through his Twitter account.
In an interview with KTN's Jeff Koinange on May this year, Miguna claimed that Sonko is functionally illiterate, John Sakaja a joyrider, Dagoretti MP Dennis Waweru a mere fly and Bishop Margaret Wanjiru only being capable of running a Sunday school.
