Soldier behind murder of over 20 mobile money dealers shot dead

Kampala- A Ugandan soldier who has reportedly killed about 20 mobile money dealers before taking off with their money and scratch cards has been shot dead.
The Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UDF) soldier who turned into a notorious criminal, identified as Corporal Kenneth Tindimweba, has succumbed to gunshot injuries that he sustained in the shooting Monday evening.
According to police reports, Corporal Tindimweba is suspected of committing and spear heading many aggravated robberies in various parts of the country.

''In an operation led by the Intelligence squad last evening, Tindimweba was arrested alongside a boda boda rider who is suspected of transporting him for the criminal activities,'' said Uganda Police Force spokesman, Fred Enanga.
He said he was was shot on the foot as he evaded arrest and bled to death.
Police reports indicate that there are several cases of aggravated robbery that are still being investigated and Tindimweba is suspected to have
spearheading most them.
Enanga called on other suspects at large to surrender to police.
