Show your stalker some dust

Stalkers are tenacious creeps, persistently obsessed with being in your life even after you have made it abundantly clear that you do not want them to be a part of it. They rob you of your peace of mind and sense of security dedicated to making your life a horror and driving you mad bit by bit. They are a demon to exorcise at once.
Here are 6 ways to get rid of a stalker:
1. Warn them
Let them know at once, in the clearest way possible that their attentions are unwelcome and that you find their behavior unsettling. Express your willingness to take action if they do not stop stalking you. Inform them that you intend to keep a record of all their interactions with you for the sake of legal action if they should make it necessary.
2. Stop all contacts
Do not contact or respond to them. Do not even acknowledge the contact. If they call you don’t hang up, let it ring. Even a negative response is good news to them; it lets them know you are listening. Block them; otherwise change your phone number, email addresses so they have no way of contacting you. Do not acknowledge their gifts or even accept them. If they cannot continuously get through to you they may give up.
3. Keep your distance
If you see them on one side of the street, cross over to the other side. Keep at least 30 meters between you where possible. This keeps you safe since some stalkers are likely to be violent. Also, by keeping your distance you communicate the fact that you want to have nothing to do with them.

4. Change your routine
Do things differently to throw them off. Change where and when you go shopping, church or even your lecture hours. Make it hard for them to keep up with you, so that they can’t make any plans with regard to that in advance. This keeps you safe too and frustrates their efforts to stalk you. The less they are able to see you, the more likely it is they will give up.
5. Change your information
Change you existing contact personal information and passwords and keep them secure by always reviewing them. When you have done that, do not give it out carelessly. Change the locks on your house. If it is that bad, consider changing jobs and moving house. The danger that comes with a stalker is not something to be taken lightly.
6. Let others know
Let other people know that you are being stalked, and the identity of the stalker. Let this include the relevant authorities at work, school and even the police. You will thus have many eyes on him which will make it hard for him to stalk and even harm you. He will be afraid to try anything if the odds that he will be caught are against him. In the same breath, try as much as possible not to be alone. Always walk with friends, and if possible, move in with another person temporarily.
Bonus tip: If all else fails, you could always fake your own death. This certainly is on a light note, though it did work for some lady.
