Senior official leaves Jubilee Party, accuses Uhuru of mistrust

Nairobi - Charity Ngilu says that she has left the Jubilee Party and that
she has done so because she cannot trust the party leadership.
Ngilu states that she will contest for the Kitui
Governorship come 2017 on a NARC ticket and that she is no longer in the
She asked Kamba people to shun the party, seeing as it had shortchanged
her during the last 5 years.
“ In 2013 I asked Kamba people to support Jubilee because they
would develop the region and include us in government but that has not
happened,” she told News24 in Nairobi.
She accused the leadership led by President Uhuru Kenyatta
and DP William Ruto of taking her for a ride.
“If they treated Ngilu the way they did, what they will do
to the Kamba community of you vote for them?” she posed.
Ngilu says that she will decide on a later date which
