Nairobi - A secondary school principal in Kirinyaga County has committed suicide and left behind several documents explaining about troubles in his marriage.
Andrew Murimi, 53, the Principal of Kirigo Mixed Secondary School, hanged himself at the rafter of his house in Mitondo village.
He was reported to have asked a friend they were with to go to his mother’s house and bring him hot water to shower.
“But when his friend returned he found the main door locked from inside and after knocking several times without response he raised alarm,” said a neighbor.
He said they broke the door only to find Ngure’s body in short pants and a T-shirt dangling from the roof.
The documents which were found in a sealed envelope were later picked by police who also moved the body to Baricho hospital mortuary.
