Nairobi - Kenya’s favorite boy band Sauti sol are
loved not only for their earth shatteringly good music, but also for their work
as a youth leaders and philanthropist.
They took time off their busy schedule
to visit their former high school, Upper Hill, to try bond with the students,
who seem to be fighting a battle with the system. Recently many high schools in
the country have been shut down due to arson, with students burning down their
classrooms and dormitories.
Upper hill School was one of those, with
major unrest amongst the students with fears of an incident looming.
In a rare
show of leadership, Sauti Sol toured the school, even singing some of their
favorite songs with the students.
They posted a video on their Facebook page
with Bien leading students in one of these songs.
