Sauti Sol collaborate with Willy Paul
25 April 2016, 23:57
Nairobi - The much anticipated
collaboration between gospel legend Willy Paul and Kenya’s biggest group Sauti
Sol is finally out despite warnings being sent to the gospel artist not to
release it. The biggest concern for fans of gospel music was that Willy Paul
was performing in a secular track, asking him if he has left the ways of the
lord. He responded on social media by posting links to the track and the
lyrics, explaining that it was an educational track.
After watching the
video, I have no idea what people were on about, with both Sauti Sol and Willy
Paul delivering a track that could easily be a chart topper. There is nothing
to suggest that Willy Paul has decided to backslide, singing about the reality
of things right now, telling the youth to take it slow with sex and that life
is not a rehearsal. Needless to say, the audio and visuals are world class and
are deserving of applause regardless of its genre and the drama around it.
Check it out here and by the judge for yourself.
