Sang set to join politics after ICC escape

Nairobi - Following his acquittal from the International Criminal Court ICC, journalist Joshua Sang is set to join politics, with the likelyhood being he will jump into the Jubilee Coalition bandwagon.
The former Kass FM radio host, questioned about his next move after learning that he had been set free with crimes against humanity charges levelled against him dropped, did not rule out politics as his next move.
" Politics. Maybe. Every Kenyan can run and I too. We will see," he told News24.
" The door is open. I have to sit down with my family first and we will know what next," he added.
The Jubilee Coalition will be an easy step into elective politics for Sang whose popularity in the Rift Valley will have risen following his stint with the ICC.
And with Deputy President William Ruto likely to offer him any sort of backing, nothing is impossible for Sang.
