Ruto unlikely to get Kikuyu vote, Jubilee leader says

Nairobi - A Jubilee leader says that DP William Ruto must prepare for life without the Kikuyu vote for the 2022 elections.
Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto says that it is no guarantee any leader will get votes anywhere he likes.
" No leader is guaranteed votes. It is not a right to win. It is the same for everyone," he said.
He stated that the DP will have to convince Kenyans just like every other leader come 2022.
" Politics changes quickly. The DP must be prepared to ask for votes like every other leader come the time," he added.
Ruto has been told that he is not guaranteed the Kikuyu vote for the 2022 elections by leaders from the region after Kiambu Governor William Kabogo stated that he would find it hard to be supported come the polls.
